Thank you for your interest in joining our CSA! 2019 marks the fourth year for us farming here in the beautiful U.P., we also have over a decade of farming experience in Alaska, Ohio and lower Michigan. We employ only natural/organic agricultural practices at our diversified farm in Skandia, and strive to provide you with the freshest, most nutritious and highest quality food possible.
This year, we will be offering four weekly CSA options:
The “Full Plate” Share - (15 weeks, early July - early October) intended for a group or family of 3+, includes $28-30 worth of fresh, seasonal vegetables each week ($430)
The “Small Plate” Share - (15 weeks, early July- early October) intended for individuals or couples, includes $15-18 worth of fresh, seasonal vegetables each week ($260)
The Egg Share - brown eggs from our organically-fed, pastured hens available as an add-on to your vegetable share or a stand alone item (from $26)
Actual share values may vary week to week depending on seasonality and availability. For example, shares may be slightly smaller at the beginning of the summer, and grow larger as the season progresses. We are confident that you will find at the end of the season that your share was money well spent. See what our 2017 CSA members received here!
A typical “Full Plate” share during each portion of the season might look like this:

Several options are available to pick-up/receive your shares:
Pick-up on Wednesdays between 4:30 and 7:00 pm at the Marquette Commons.
Delivery directly to your door in the greater Marquette or Munising areas (just $4 per week)
Free Workplace/Neighborhood drop-off -- organize 5+ members for a free single location drop-off (please contact us)
Please understand that you must pick one pick-up/delivery option for the entire season.
Summers are busy! If you cannot pick-up/receive your share during a particular week, please designate a friend or neighbor to do so for you, or let us know ahead of time and we will hold off harvesting your share in order to reduce waste.
To show our appreciation, and to furnish you with additional ideas for how to use all of the veggies in your share, each new CSA member will receive a copy of the awesome reference and cookbook From Asparagus to Zucchini: A Guide to Cooking Farm-Fresh Seasonal Produce with their first share.
CSA members will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase “excess” volumes of extra-perishable crops such as strawberries, cherry tomatoes and heirloom tomatoes at the time of CSA pick-up or delivery. These items will of course be included in your share, but who couldn’t eat or jam an additional quart or two of fresh strawberries?
Thanks for considering our CSA. We hope you decide to join!
